If you go on Tuesday evenings when they have the smothered steak, you can order a Chicken Fried Rib-eye and get the brown gravy with the mushrooms and onions already in use for the smothered steak instead of the cream gravy. The price charged will be the same as for the grilled steak dinner, but after you have a chicken fried rib-eye, the standard chicken fried steak will not be the same again and you will demand no less.
The best deal that will fill the tummy has to be the Tortilla Soup and the Garden Salad. See if you can substitute leafy greens or Romaine Lettuce for it though as the Iceberg Lettuce has no nutritional value and it is very hard on the colon. This combination will be one of the best deals for the health, food type, and price amount. But, since the tip will not be very large, be sure to figure at least 20% for the wait-person to keep them happy and it will all be well worth it.
